Copyright and Reuse Policy

The authors of peer reviewed articles and blog posts on the HELLO Community retain personal copyright and grant the HELLO Community rights to publicly publish the material.  Authors of these posts are encouraged and provided tools to add Creative Commons copyright statements to their publications.  Authors and submitters of all other content added to the HELLO website, including comments, forum discussions and uploaded files, agree that they are doing so under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) copyright agreement.  This means that others are free to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material.
  • The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms.
 Under the following terms:

Reuse

Authors of content, particularly peer-reviewed articles, are encouraged to modify their articles over time, especially in response to member comments.  If a member comment results in significant changes to the document, the author is encouraged to mention the contributor using the @username functionality of our site.  This creates an attribution link to the commenters profile.  This is not a requirement and is solely at the discretion of the author of the original work.
