
Most of the HELLO Community site is dedicated to sharing individual and independent resources and articles about components of higher education management. However, higher education institutions are extremely complex, so an information sharing approach called the Sentient Concept Map (SCM) was developed to enable sharing of structure, interrelationships, and resources within their institutional context.
The SCM is a community developed, Creative Commons licensed, visually intuitive relational database implemented through a conceptual mapping approach as shown in the screenshot below.

The SCM can be viewed online in any web browser, however it is strongly recommended that you view it in the TheBrain software which was used to create the map and provides a much more powerful and useful interface. TheBrain can be downloaded for free from TheBrain.com. Once you have the software installed you can then download an editable version of the SCM.
