Dear HELLO Community members,
Over the past few years, much of my time has been devoted to developing Sentient and the Sentient Knowledge Map (SKM)—and to writing and publishing my new book on this work, Metrics, Mapping, and Modelling for Masterful Management in Higher Education. While that development and publication effort was underway, I wasn’t able to give the HELLO Community website the attention it deserved.
I’m pleased to share that I have now resumed active management of the HELLO Community. In the months ahead, you can expect refreshed content, new Sentient-related materials, and more opportunities to connect around shared challenges and good practices in higher-education leadership, assessment, and institutional improvement.
I invite you to reengage with the HELLO Community: explore the resources, revisit earlier discussions, share your own materials and experiences, and let me know what would be most valuable to you going forward. Your participation is what makes this a genuine community rather than just a repository of documents.
Thank you for your past involvement—and for your patience during this quieter period. I’m looking forward to working with you again, both through the HELLO Community and, where helpful, through G² Ed Consulting, to advance more informed, collaborative, and effective practices across higher education.
The author has shifted focus back to actively managing the HELLO Community after dedicating time to develop Sentient and publish a new book on management in higher education. Members can expect updated content and resources that facilitate connection and collaboration on leadership and institutional improvement. Engagement from the community is encouraged.
